from Moore College of Art, AVIVA continued her education,
received an M. Ed from Temple University and taught for
four years. She married and began a family in South Jersey.
When her children were young Aviva continued her art career
painting with pastels and showing her work in juried art
shows as far away as Kentucky.
When she answered an ad in the paper for a needlepoint
copy artist in 1980 AVIVA Needlepoint Designs was born
and blossomed into an independent, national company.
AVIVA has been featured in magazines and been in many
TNNA shows. All the designs are hand painted on deluxe
mono with the clarity of stitch painting. She is well
known for her extensive line of Judaica canvases as well
as children, art deco ladies and geometric designs. We
are pleased to feature AVIVA Designs in our Online Trunk
The canvases are divided into several groups, but feel
free to browse them all, as many of the canvases work
well as pictures, pillows and book covers. Her extensive
selection of Judaica canvases include many varieties of
the same design.
the canvases listed are in stock or available in one to
two weeks, as AVIVA still continues to stitch paint all
of her canvases herself! (
